Now we continue and drive through the famous vineyards of Lliber in the Jalon Valley, known as the “Ocean of Muscatel”. Here we stop for a welcome refreshing drink, in the square dating back to the 13th Century.
We now take the winding river gorge from Lliber toward Gata de Gorgos enjoying fabulous vistas and continue to Jesus Pobre, renowned for its Artisan market, where people arrive from around the region.
Finally for our grand finale we head toward Cap San Antonio, with yet more spectacular views of Javea Bay where you can look across the Med’ to Ibiza, be on the lookout for dolphins or passing whales! (Photo stop).

We start from Javea and head via back roads and trails toward Gata de Gorgos, with some guaranteed smiles, prepare to get dusty or muddy depending on the season!
From Gata de Gorgos we head through the river bed valley with superb scenery and toward Lliber, where we drive through the fabulous “Ocean of Muscatel” vineyards.
Now we head back via another beautiful trail along a river, with hills and forests surrounding us, we arrive in Jesus Pobre renowned for its Artisan market, where people arrive from around the region.
